Systems Planning Privacy Policies

General

We never share, sell, or rent information about our clients. We disclose information about our clients only when references are requested, as described below.

Mailing Lists

We maintain mailing lists for our MWeb and MARC products. You may sign up for these on the left side of this page. These record only your name, institution, and email address. We may add your name and email address to the appropriate list if you order one of our products (but please register using the form on the left if you want our announcements). If you do not wish to receive further mailings, you may unsubscribe at any time. We will not rent, sell, share, or lose your information.

Website

Our website does not collect any information about you. It uses anonymous cookies only for the ASP session ID.

Consulting Clients

We may include a brief mention of the project on our Client History page. No personal names or contract terms are included, just a brief technical summary with the dates of performance. If we are requested to provide references on the project, we will provide your name, title, phone number, and email address.

MWeb™ Clients

We may briefly describe your MWeb site on our Installed Sites page. No personal names or contract terms are included. We will include small and large views of one page of your site. We may also include small and large views of your site on other pages of our website. However, we will not display any views in such a way that your object images could be captured by our visitors, without your permission. If we are requested to provide references on the project, we will provide your name, title, phone number, and email address.

MWeb™ Users

Visitors to your MWeb website are required to have cookies enabled. These cookies are temporary and expire when the user leaves your MWeb site. The cookie consists of a meaningless user ID and data about the current search. If your MWeb site requires or permits a logon, the user ID consists of an identifier chosen by the user. If you have "Search Capture" turned on, searches are recorded linked to the user ID; this data resides on your server and persists as long as you do not delete it. Systems Planning does not capture any information about your users.

MWeb installations email Systems Planning when certain errors are detected. This enables us to correct the problems in the software. No personal information of any kind is included in the email, not even the user ID.

MARCView™ Clients

We may include your institution's name on our Sites with Systems Planning Software page. No other information will be divulged. We do not provide references to potential purchasers of MARCView.

MARConvert™ Clients

We may include a brief mention of the project on the MARConvert page. No personal names or contract terms are included, just a brief technical summary with the dates of performance. If we are requested to provide references on the project, we will provide your name, title, phone number, and email address.

Esellerate

When you purchase and/or download software from our fulfillment service Esellerate, it requests complete contact information about you. This information is made available to us by Esellerate. Esellerate makes no use of this data except to send you download information and for billing (see their privacy policy available at Esellerate.net).

Ordering through Esellerate takes place on a secure server. Your credit card information is NOT shared with Systems Planning.
